A win-win

I wrote as such in a customer service email for the above shirt, as a tangent. And, that is to say, this is the third tee I sent my friend Jill for her bday, in a row maybe. Well, somehow Amy Sedaris one I sent totally drew a blank but yeah, that was first. Next, Rita M. and screwed up the address/zip and you guys came through in the end I think sending a whole new tee. Youŕe the best.

In April, Jill and I were part of a friends vacation in NYC. (Known Jill since 4th grade, we are now 52). A high school friend who lives there, her son was having his Bar Mitzvah so a few others flew from elsewhere or already lived there, from high school. Jill and I were roomies in one of those little-room places...name escapes me, like our option was bathroom down the hall. I recommend.

Okay, Iḿ writing too much. Anyway, Iḿ a Broadway fan, Jill open to anything and yes has seen musicals before, but for her never Bway itself. On my push, we saw Company which I love anyway and it was a gamble if Patti was gonna be in our performance of Sunday matinee....and she was (others I know went on like a Friday and it was the understudy). So of course it was awesome, she was awesome, we saw her walk right after the show ended to her car waiting, no autographs. Letś say she led by a nose ;) thought without it, like Barbra and Barry, could she sing like she does, and still?

So yes Jill loves and I love that she loves. And, this is going to sound categorical, but in every instance, Canadians (vs us Americans) are always the nicest. Too many examples but, for instance, that Rita shirt I screwed up on and your gesture. So kind. US companies would be like, too bad so sad. I mean it. And, relatedly, my younger brother works for Live Nation Denver and spent the whole day (thatś rare, a day-long assignment one-on-one) with a secret guest at a show and said they couldnt be nicer. That, of course, would be Rush. Watch a youtube of them at South Park at 25 Red Rocks. That was the gig.
